About the Internship

Safran Group is offering a full-time internship opportunity in Hail, Saudi Arabia, focusing on the validation of products used before chemical polishing in the Additive Manufacturing (FA) range. This role is part of the Safran Additive Manufacturing Campus (SAMC) and is designed for individuals with 0-1 years of experience.

Role Context

Additive Manufacturing (FA) is a strategic area for Safran, enabling significant optimization of group products and providing competitive solutions. To address this, Safran has consolidated all competencies, from R&T and development to part manufacturing, into a single entity: Safran Additive Manufacturing Campus (SAMC). The increasing integration of additive manufacturing within the group requires close coordination between design, R&T, and industrialization and production teams. This internship is situated within the Industrial Methods department at the Safran Additive Manufacturing Campus in Haillan.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct tests and capitalize on feedback regarding the use of products before chemical polishing.
• Update best practices and associated documentation.
• Define a validation method for authorized products before chemical polishing and cleaning, adhering to SAFRAN group standards.
• Formalize a product validation procedure and oversee its deployment.

Performance Indicators

• Adherence to specified objectives.
• Relevance of analyses and proposed solutions.
• Quality of formalization.
• Quality and effectiveness of relationships between involved units, including Methods, Manufacturing, Quality, Design Offices, and Materials & Processes (M&P).

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this full-time internship should possess 0-1 years of relevant experience. The role requires an individual capable of working within a structured industrial environment and contributing to the development and implementation of critical manufacturing processes.

Work Environment

This position is based at the Safran Additive Manufacturing Campus in Haillan, within the Industrial Methods department. The intern will collaborate with various internal units, including Manufacturing, Quality, Design Offices, and M&P teams, ensuring a coordinated approach to additive manufacturing integration.
