About the Recreation Experience Expert Role

Edition is seeking a Recreation Experience Expert for a full-time position in Inak, The Red Sea. This role is central to facilitating all recreation activities on the property, serving as a key resource for guests regarding available facilities such as the pool, beach, entertainment room, gym, and children's activity center. Candidates should possess 0-1 years of experience in a relevant field.

Guest Engagement and Activity Facilitation

• Motivate, recruit, register, and organize guests to participate in various recreational activities.
• Foster a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere for all guests.
• Promote and enforce recreational facility rules and regulations to ensure guest and member safety and well-being.
• Observe activity within recreational facilities and respond correctly to emergencies according to established operating procedures.
• Be alert to potential situations where participation in an activity may not be safe for guests and report concerns to the supervisor or manager.
• Provide assistance to injured guests until emergency medical services arrive.
• Welcome and serve all guests according to company standards, anticipating and addressing guest service needs, assisting individuals with disabilities, and expressing genuine appreciation.
• Speak with others using clear and professional language, and answer phone calls using appropriate etiquette.

Operational Responsibilities

• Provide cashier service when working in facilities that include point-of-sale transactions.
• Assist when private group activities and events are held at recreational facilities.
• Clean and maintain recreational facilities, equipment, and supplies.
• Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe working conditions to the manager; complete all required safety training and certifications.
• Comply with company policies and procedures, ensure uniform and personal appearance are neat and professional, maintain confidentiality of company information, and protect company assets.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues and support the team to achieve common goals.
• Process payments for equipment rental, recreational activities, facility rental, or retail sales.
• Ensure compliance with quality expectations and standards.
• Visually read and verify information in various formats (*, small print) and inspect tools, equipment, or machines to identify faults.
• Enter and locate work-related information using computers or point-of-sale systems.

Physical Demands of the Role

• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for long periods or for the entire work shift.
• Capable of moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing 25 pounds (11 kg) or less without assistance, and objects weighing over 25 pounds (11 kg) with assistance.
• Proficiency in grasping, turning, and manipulating objects of various sizes and weights, requiring hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills.
• Ability to move in elevated, confined, or narrow spaces.
• Comfortable moving on slippery, uneven, or inclined surfaces, as well as ascending and descending stairs or service ramps.
• Capability to reach objects overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting at the waist, crawling, and stooping.
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested.
