Job Summary
The General Cashier is responsible for the disbursement and handling of petty cash fund, counting and depositing daily cash receipts to the bank, verification of cash funds and preparation of consolidated cash and bank deposits, reporting of over and short, accounting and monitoring the foreign exchange.

Responsibilities:

• Collect and verify daily all Cashier’s Remittance envelopes from all deposits, depository boxes and drop sheets and counts contents while accompanied by a witness duly authorized by the Accounting Manager.
• Receives, verifies, and acknowledges collections of credit and collection clerks by signing the official receipts thereof.
• Receives collections direct from customers and clients.
• Deposits cash sales and collections with the banks daily.
• Maintains an accurate record of all cash fund transactions.
• Participates in activities concerning the protection of the environment.

We are looking for a dedicated General Cashier who will manage cash handling and transactions efficiently and accurately. Shangri-La Jeddah, located along the beautiful Red Sea, is a luxury hotel setting a new standard for premium hospitality.

Job Summary:
The General Cashier will be responsible for:

• Disbursing and handling petty cash funds.

• Reporting on cash overages and shortages, along with monitoring foreign exchange.

A cashier is required to work in a commercial store. The tasks include: greeting customers with a smile, recording sales on the point of sale system, handling cash and electronic payments, preparing daily sales reports, and ensuring the cash register matches. Accuracy at work, integrity, and the ability to work under pressure with excellent communication skills are required. (The interview dates are on Saturday, December 13, 2025, from 7 PM to 9 PM at the Saving World Exhibition, Al-Faisaliah neighborhood / Sari Street branch / opposite Panda)
