About the Role

Etihad Airways is seeking a Duty Supervisor to join its operational team in Jeddah and Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position offers an opportunity to contribute to a leading airline by overseeing critical airport functions and ensuring operational excellence.

Role Overview

As a Duty Supervisor, you will be responsible for the planning, direction, and supervision of airport operations. This includes overseeing the performance of both the operational team and service providers. The primary objective is to ensure that financial, customer service, quality, safety, and security targets are met in strict accordance with all applicable safety, security, regulatory, and company requirements and standards. You will supervise all operational elements while on duty.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all passenger and aircraft handling operations on a shift basis, ensuring adherence to arrival/departure checklists, brand requirements, company policies, and regulatory mandates.
• Manage safety and security outcomes during shifts through hazard identification, safety and compliance monitoring, and reporting procedures.
• Ensure all flight editing and special guest requirements are met, including the assessment, planning, and coordination for VIP/MAAS, PRM, and other special category guests.
• Liaise with Guest Control, Network Control, and SOC to manage operational disruption recovery and minimize impact on guest service and operational integrity.
• Deliver, maintain, and rehearse the station's emergency response plan, disruption planning, diversion/delay handling, and business continuity plans.
• Manage on-time performance on a shift basis, encompassing coordination, mitigation strategies, accurate reporting, and follow-up of delays.
• Promote airport ancillary sales, coordinate processes, monitor compliance, and ensure adherence to associated targets.
• Promote, deliver, monitor, and report on customer service-related standards, including performance against associated KPIs.
• Ensure adherence to local authority requirements, specifically regarding arrival/departure documentation and reporting.
• Make day-to-day operational decisions to manage and mitigate operational safety and security-related risks at the station level, based on effective evaluation of conditions, hazards, and threats.
• Identify and report safety and security-related occurrences and hazards in accordance with company procedures and local regulations.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for the Duty Supervisor position are required to have 5 to 10 years of experience in airport operations or a closely related field. This role demands a proven track record in supervising teams and managing complex operational environments.
