Electrical Draftsman

About the Role

Talents Sea is seeking an Electrical Draftsman to join their team in Makkah, with work primarily located in Jeddah and Makkah. This full-time role involves preparing precise technical drawings, layouts, and detailed plans using computer-aided design (CAD) software. The successful candidate will collaborate with engineers, architects, and project teams to ensure drawings meet project specifications, standards, and deadlines.

Role Overview

The Electrical Draftsman will be responsible for creating and modifying a variety of technical drawings essential for project execution. This includes developing both 2D and 3D models, ensuring all designs comply with established standards and project requirements. The role requires close coordination with various stakeholders to maintain accuracy and timely delivery of documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and modify 2D technical drawings using AutoCAD.
• Develop 3D models and project visualizations using SketchUp.
• Prepare single-line diagrams (SLDs), shop drawings, and detailed construction drawings.
• Prepare as-built drawings and update drawings based on actual site conditions.
• Develop detailed drawings, layouts, plans, sections, and elevations based on engineering and architectural requirements.
• Revise drawings in accordance with project changes, design updates, and technical comments.
• Ensure drawings comply with company standards, project specifications, and applicable codes and standards.
• Review drawings for accuracy, dimensions, materials, annotations, and technical details.
• Coordinate with engineers, architects, site teams, and other project stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely drawing updates.
• Maintain organized records of drawings, revisions, and project documentation.
• Ensure drawings are clear, accurate, and submission-ready.
• Complete drafting tasks within project deadlines while maintaining a high standard of accuracy and quality.

Experience and Qualifications

Candidates should possess 2-5 years of relevant experience in electrical drafting. Proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp is required. The role demands a strong understanding of technical drawing principles and the ability to work collaboratively within a project team.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in the Makkah region, with specific work locations in Jeddah and Makkah. The role involves working closely with engineering and architectural teams in a dynamic project environment.
