About the Role

The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, *** is seeking a General Manager for its property in Jeddah, Makkah. This full-time executive role involves leading all aspects of hotel operations, ensuring alignment with brand standards, and driving performance across operational excellence, commercial results, guest satisfaction, and talent development.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership: Provide overall leadership and direction for all hotel operations, ensuring alignment with Ritz-Carlton brand standards and Marriott International objectives. Develop and execute strategic business plans to drive revenue growth, market share, profitability, and guest loyalty. Foster a culture of excellence, innovation, accountability, and service leadership throughout the property.
• Operations Excellence: Ensure exceptional execution across Rooms, Food & Beverage, Spa, Engineering, Security, and other operational departments. Champion guest satisfaction initiatives, delivering memorable luxury experiences and consistently exceeding guest expectations. Maintain the highest standards of quality, safety, compliance, and operational efficiency.
• Commercial Performance: Lead revenue optimization strategies across all business segments. Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Revenue Management, and Distribution teams to maximize RevPAR, ADR, occupancy, and overall hotel profitability. Identify new business opportunities and strengthen relationships with key customers, owners, travel partners, and local stakeholders.
• Talent Leadership: Recruit, develop, and retain high-performing leadership teams. Create an inclusive and engaging work environment that supports employee growth and succession planning. Drive employee engagement and uphold Marriott International's culture and values.
• Financial Management: Deliver annual budget and financial targets while ensuring effective cost control and resource management. Monitor financial performance, analyze business trends, and implement corrective actions as required. Ensure sound asset management and long-term value creation.
• Owner & Stakeholder Relations: Maintain strong relationships with hotel ownership and key stakeholders. Provide regular business updates, strategic recommendations, and operational insights. Represent the hotel within the local business community and luxury hospitality market.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience as a General Manager within a luxury hotel environment.
• Significant leadership experience in either Sales & Marketing or Hotel Operations.
• Proven success managing luxury hotels within internationally recognized brands.
• Strong financial acumen with demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth and profitability.
• Experience leading large and diverse teams in complex hospitality environments.

Preferred Experience

• Experience within the Middle East or GCC hospitality market.
• Luxury brand experience.
• Proven track record of delivering exceptional guest satisfaction scores and strong financial results.
