Graphic Designer (Saudi National)

About the Role

Parsons Corporation is seeking a Graphic Designer to join the SAPL Program Controls team, focusing on major projects within Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is based in Makkah, with operations also in Jeddah, and requires 5-10 years of relevant experience. The role involves conceptualizing and developing visual content to support various project and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Study design briefs and determine project requirements.
• Conceptualize and develop visuals based on specified requirements.
• Prepare rough drafts and present design ideas for feedback.
• Develop illustrations, logos, and other graphic designs using appropriate software.
• Select and apply appropriate colors and layouts for each graphic.
• Amend designs based on feedback received from stakeholders.
• Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and consistent with brand guidelines.
• Create various documents including design reports, status reports, monthly/weekly reports, presentations (PPT), dashboards, and bidding documents.
• Work on diverse projects and media, utilizing various software programs to visualize and develop graphic designs that align with business goals.
• Obtain input from managers to ensure designs meet organizational standards, brand expectations, accurately convey ideas, and appropriately represent the company or client.
• Work independently and collaboratively with project teams to meet deadlines.
• Examine existing processes, identify areas for improvement, and develop solutions to enhance design capabilities.
• Establish new processes and standards for graphic design tasks.
• Update and maintain internal databases for graphic design-related tasks.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of related work experience in graphic design.
• Proven graphic design experience, preferably within technology consultancy firms.
• A strong portfolio showcasing illustrations or other graphic design work.

Required Skills

• Proficiency with design software and technologies such as InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, and Photoshop.
• Demonstrated experience utilizing AI tools for graphic design enhancement.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work methodically and consistently meet project deadlines.
• Proactive approach to managing individual activities and supporting other disciplines to contribute to overall program efficiency.
• A highly creative mindset with experience in applying creative skills to produce professional documents.

Desired Attributes

• Previous experience in a related field.
• Prior experience in the creation of engineering or project management documents and reports.
• Experience working in a highly collaborative environment with multidisciplinary departments.
