Stock Control Supervisor

About the Role

Ninja, a quick-commerce company, is seeking an experienced Stock Control Supervisor to join its Warehouse Operations team in Jeddah, Makkah Province. This full-time role is crucial for maintaining inventory accuracy, overseeing stock control activities, and ensuring efficient distribution center operations. The supervisor will be responsible for leading cycle counts and resolving stock discrepancies to support the overall warehouse function.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise the stock control team and manage daily inventory activities.
• Conduct cycle counts, full inventory counts, audits, and stock reconciliations.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies and ensure their timely resolution.
• Monitor receiving, stocking, picking, transfers, adjustments, and distribution transactions.
• Maintain accurate inventory records within Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and/or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
• Coordinate effectively with Receiving, Picking, Shipping, Quality, Purchasing, and other Warehouse teams.

Inventory Management and Optimization

• Monitor stock levels to help prevent shortages and overstocking.
• Implement and enforce inventory control procedures and best practices.
• Apply FIFO (First-In, First-Out) principles and monitor expiry dates, aging, slow-moving, and obsolete stock.
• Ensure bins are correctly labeled and storage locations are logically organized.
• Improve storage layouts, stock flow, and overall operational efficiency.
• Monitor key inventory performance indicators (KPIs), including stock accuracy, variances, and count completion.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports.
• Support internal and external audits by providing required reports and documentation.
• Train, guide, and evaluate inventory control employees, ensuring compliance with company policies, safety standards, and warehouse procedures.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in inventory control, stock management, or warehouse supervision.
• Previous experience supervising an inventory or warehouse team is required.

Required Skills and Knowledge

• Strong knowledge of cycle counting, stock audits, reconciliation, and inventory accuracy methodologies.
• Hands-on experience using WMS and/or ERP systems.
• Good understanding of warehouse operations, FIFO principles, stock replenishment, and inventory forecasting.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
• Ability to investigate discrepancies and implement effective process improvements.
• Good communication, coordination, and team-management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is preferred.
• Relevant inventory, warehouse, or supply chain certifications are considered an advantage.
