Role Overview: Systems Administrator – Windows & VMware

Avensys Consulting is seeking an experienced Systems Administrator – Windows & VMware to join their team. This contract position is based in the Makkah region, with primary work locations in Jeddah and Makkah. The role requires a professional with 8+ years of experience in managing enterprise Windows Server and virtualization environments, possessing strong expertise across various technical domains.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage enterprise Windows Server and virtualization environments.
• Provide production support for systems and networks.
• Perform systems tasks and close VA/CR findings.
• Work on shifts as required.

Required Skills and Experience

• In-depth knowledge of Windows Server operating systems and services.
• Advanced understanding of Active Directory, including group policy management and DNS.
• Experience with virtualization technology like VMware and VCF components.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell for automation and management tasks.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for common hardware and software problems.
• Strong grasp of network infrastructure, including TCP/IP, DHCP, and DNS.
• Experience with backup and disaster recovery solutions.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve complex system and network issues.
• Knowledge of enterprise applications such as Exchange, Citrix, and SCCM.
• Familiarity with security best practices, including patch management and access controls.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills for team collaborations.
