SEGULA Technologies is seeking an experienced professional to join their team. This role is based in the Makkah region, specifically within King Abdullah Economic City, Saudi Arabia.

The Role of IT Manager (Smart Factory & Infrastructure)

The IT Manager – Smart Factory & Infrastructure will lead the integration of digital infrastructure, smart-building technologies, and facility engineering systems. This full-time position is integral to a major automotive manufacturing development, ensuring robust and scalable IT and smart-building solutions are in place to support advanced operations and future growth in King Abdullah Economic City, Makkah.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for IT and smart-building infrastructure.
• Oversee ICT infrastructure, telecommunications, and structured cabling systems.
• Coordinate data-centre and server-room readiness.
• Manage Building Management Systems (BMS), SCADA, security, and other smart-building technologies.
• Coordinate IT infrastructure integration with Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) and utility systems.
• Manage interfaces with HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire-protection systems.
• Coordinate external power, water, telecommunications, and other essential utility connections.
• Review engineering designs to ensure constructability and optimal operational performance.
• Monitor contractor installations and verify technical compliance with project specifications.
• Resolve multidisciplinary engineering and interface issues that arise during project execution.
• Oversee integrated systems testing and commissioning processes.
• Ensure all systems are prepared for manufacturing operations and accommodate future expansion requirements.
• Review as-built documentation and Operations & Maintenance (O&M) information.

Required Experience

Candidates should possess 5 to 10 years of relevant professional experience in IT management, particularly within smart factory environments or large-scale infrastructure projects.

Work Environment and Location

This is a full-time position located in King Abdullah Economic City, Makkah, within the Makkah region. The role involves working on-site to oversee critical infrastructure development for an automotive manufacturing facility.
