About the Role

Amazon Saudi Arabia is seeking an IT Manager II, Operations Tech Solutions, to join the Fulfillment & Operations IT team in Riyadh. This full-time role is critical for maintaining the continuous operation of Fulfillment Centers, which function as 24/7 production environments managing large, fast-moving inventories. The successful candidate will lead a team responsible for resolving complex hardware, software, server, and infrastructure issues to ensure smooth facility operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure IT maintenance work and troubleshooting are executed to high standards, adhering to all Amazon IT and Health & Safety policies and guidelines.
• Lead the coordination of trouble tickets and change management processes, ensuring compliance with strict Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Coordinate and oversee team projects, providing support for technical task execution through strong IT project management skills.
• Foster IT ownership within the team, ensuring effective reporting and working towards efficient internal customer satisfaction.
• Manage the IT budget throughout its lifecycle.
• Encourage, support, and facilitate IT skill development for Fulfillment Center staff.
• Lead and manage staff, including scheduling for people, hours, and shifts.
• Drive continuous improvement across all IT team processes and initiatives, promoting operational excellence within the Fulfillment department.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree.
• Knowledge of Linux or Unix systems administration.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience leading technology teams as an information technology operations manager.
• A minimum of 5 years of overall Information Technology (IT) experience.

Preferred Experience

• Knowledge of hardware architectures.
• Experience with system management tools and client/server environments.
• Experience working in an engineering, construction, manufacturing, or warehouse environment.

Work Environment

This role operates within Amazon's Fulfillment Centers, which are dynamic 24/7 production environments characterized by the management and coordination of a large, rapidly moving inventory of products. The IT Manager II will lead a dedicated team to ensure the technical stability and efficiency of these critical operations.
