About the Role

Dallah Al Baraka Group is seeking a Cook to join their team in Medina. This full-time position involves supporting chief cooks by preparing high-quality basic food materials and products, ensuring freshness and consistency. The role requires adherence to strict safety and hygiene guidelines within the kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow all relevant procedures to ensure work is carried out consistently and in a controlled manner.
• Manage day-to-day operations related to catering services to ensure continuity of work.
• Prepare and cook allocated dishes under direct supervision, meeting specified recipe quantity and quality standards.
• Assist the chief cook (chef) in ensuring all culinary standards in the kitchen comply with established guidelines.
• Contribute to the proper care of kitchen premises and equipment by ensuring correct hygiene procedures and cleaning schedules are followed within safe working practices.
• Assist in monitoring stock levels and planning daily schedule requirements, ensuring adequate resources, foodstuffs, and supplies.
• Guide and train kitchen staff (helpers and assistant cooks) in necessary skills, reporting any performance issues or concerns regarding the quality or quantity of delivered foodstuffs to superiors.
• Comply with all relevant food hygiene, safety, and quality policies, procedures, and controls to maintain a healthy and safe work environment and ensure quality products and services.

Qualifications and Experience

• 0-1 year of relevant experience.
• Ability to use basic kitchen utensils and some specialized equipment.
• Understanding and adherence to safety and hygiene guidelines.

Work Environment

This role operates within a catering services environment, requiring close collaboration with chief cooks and other kitchen staff. The position is based in Medina and is a full-time commitment.
