The Guest Relation Role

Sofitel Shahd Al Madinah is seeking a dedicated professional for the Guest Relation role. This full-time position, based in Medina, Saudi Arabia, involves overseeing and directing all aspects of guest relations to ensure maximum guest satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess over 10 years of experience in a relevant hospitality role.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure maximum guest satisfaction through personal recognition and prompt, cordial attention from arrival through departure.
• Guarantee all members consistently receive benefits, and repeat guests and VIPs receive special recognition and service.
• Personally meet and greet VIP guests upon arrival.
• Liaise closely with Concierge and Butler for hotel events, restaurant promotions, limousine requirements, and special VIP requests or preparations.
• Prepare guest compendiums prior to arrival and update the system as necessary.
• Maintain close contact with the Airport Concierge regarding new arrivals and departures.
• Update and maintain the repeat guest history system.
• Promote inter-hotel sales and in-house facilities to guests.
• Arrange for welcome cards and amenities to be sent to rooms prior to guest arrival.
• Attend to and fulfill special requests made by guests.
• Handle guest complaints effectively, referring them as necessary, and following up on corrective actions.
• Review arrival lists for all guests and VIPs to verify room allocations, amenities, and special requests.
• Prepare requisitions for amenities on a timely basis.
• Perform other related duties and special projects as assigned.

Candidate Profile

Candidates for this position are required to have a minimum of 10 years of experience in guest relations or a closely related hospitality field. The role demands a professional who can consistently deliver high standards of service and manage guest interactions effectively within a luxury hotel environment.
