Level IT Systems Engineer

About the Role

Midana Exploration Company is seeking a Level IT Systems Engineer to join its team in Jeddah, Makkah. This full-time role is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the company's website and document management system, either via SharePoint or a proprietary system. The engineer will also support the Manager ITC's strategy and digital roadmap across all KSA operations, ensuring 2nd level support for all ITC services, systems, and infrastructure for corporate, project, and field-based users.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a Document Management System (DMS) strategy and support the digital roadmap for business mobilization, operational readiness, and long-term organizational objectives.
• Assist in promoting an IT-as-a-Service culture across the organization, focusing on customer-centric, responsive, and value-driven technology service delivery.
• Support the ITC Manager with assigned responsibilities, tasks, and instructions from other MEC managers.
• Coordinate and manage IT/ICT support activities, providing technical assistance for projects, reports, and service delivery.
• Assume responsibility for specific delegated tasks or projects and act as back-to-back ITC Manager during rostered leave.
• Assist in establishing and maintaining cybersecurity, data governance, business continuity, and ITC risk controls.
• Ensure compliance with applicable KSA regulatory, cybersecurity, data protection, Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL), and localization requirements.
• Support and maintain strong relationships with KSA leadership and business functions to understand, prioritize, and deliver technology requirements.
• Support and maintain effective relationships with ITC vendors, suppliers, and strategic technology partners to ensure performance, service quality, and commercial value.
• Proactively anticipate technology requirements, identify capability and infrastructure gaps, and implement solutions to mitigate risks and support business growth.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in IT systems engineering or a related field.
• Demonstrated ability to develop, implement, and maintain IT systems and infrastructure.
• Experience with SharePoint or similar document management systems.
• Understanding of KSA regulatory, cybersecurity, and data protection requirements.

Work Environment and Travel

This role is based in the Jeddah head office. Very limited travel to field and operational locations across KSA will be required to support business operations and assess end-user requirements.
