About the Role

Nahdi Medical Co. is seeking a Pediatric Registrar to join their team in Mecca, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position requires 2-5 years of experience and involves diagnosing and treating injuries or illnesses within the Pediatric department. The Registrar will be responsible for patient examinations, medical histories, medication prescriptions, and interpreting diagnostic tests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess patients and accurately document findings.
  • Design and execute comprehensive patient care plans.
  • Educate patients on their health conditions, required investigations, treatment options, and medication use.
  • Provide patient education on health promotion and disease prevention.
  • Order and review results of patient investigations.
  • Prescribe medications for patients as appropriate.
  • Fulfill obligations related to maintaining accurate patient records.
  • Counsel patients on diet, hygiene, and preventive healthcare relevant to their individual cases.
  • Perform additional tasks based on specialty and clinical privileges, adhering to Saudi health council guidelines.

Compliance and Professional Development

  • Adhere to all Nahdi Care Clinics (NCC) Policies and Procedures (P&P), Bylaws, Strategic Plan, Rules & Regulations.
  • Comply with the mission, vision, goals, and practice guidelines of NCC.
  • Actively participate in assigned NCC Committees and Task Forces.
  • Adhere to CBAHI standards of care.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with other NCC departments, local agencies, vendors, patients, and their families.
  • Complete fire safety requirements and comply with clinical and departmental structure standards, including attendance.
  • Participate in continuous quality improvement activities to ensure Clinical, MOH, and CBAHI quality standards are met.
  • Contribute to the continuous professional development of junior staff.
  • Integrate population factors such as heritage, environment, and disease prevalence into patient care.
  • Develop, participate in, and support an active Continuing Medical Education program for the Section, Department, or Clinic as assigned by the chairman, which may include rounds, conferences, lectures, and journal clubs.

Work Environment

This role is based entirely indoors (100%). The work schedule is 6 working days per week with 1 day off. Working hours are 8 net hours per day, according to a shift schedule approved by the head of the department.
