Job Description
About the Role
Nahdi Medical Co. is seeking a Pediatric Registrar to join their team in Makkah, Makkah Region. This full-time position requires 2-5 years of experience and involves diagnosing and treating injuries or illnesses within the Pediatric department. The Registrar will be responsible for patient examinations, medical histories, medication prescriptions, and interpreting diagnostic tests.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess patients and accurately document findings.
- Design and execute comprehensive patient care plans.
- Educate patients on their health conditions, necessary investigations, treatment options, and medication usage.
- Provide patient education on health promotion and disease prevention.
- Order and review results of patient investigations.
- Prescribe appropriate medications for patients.
- Fulfill all obligations related to patient records.
- Counsel patients on diet, hygiene, and preventive healthcare relevant to their individual cases.
- Perform additional tasks based on specialty and clinical privileges, adhering to Saudi health council guidelines.
Compliance and Professional Development
- Adhere to all Nahdi Care Clinics (NCC) Policies and Procedures, Bylaws Strategic Plan, Rules & Regulation.
- Comply with the mission, vision goals, and practice guidelines of NCC.
- Actively participate in assigned NCC Committees and Task Forces.
- Adhere to CBAHI standards of care.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with other departments, agencies, vendors, patients, and their families.
- Complete fire safety requirements and comply with clinical & departmental structure standards, including attendance.
- Participate in continuous quality improvement activities to ensure Clinical, MOH, and CBAHI quality Standards and Regulations are met.
- Contribute to the continuous professional development of junior staff.
- Maintain an evidence-based approach in practice.
- Integrate population factors of heritage, environment, and disease prevalence into patient care.
- Develop, participate, and support an active Continuing Medical Education program for the assigned Section, Department, or Clinical, as directed by the chairman.
Work Environment and Conditions
This role operates entirely indoors. The working schedule is 6 days per week, with 1 day off. Working hours consist of 8 net hours per day, based on a shift schedule approved by the head of the department.
