About the Role

United Group is seeking a Strategy Specialist to join their team in Makkah, with work locations including Jeddah and Makkah. This full-time role supports the Strategy & Business Development function by contributing to the development, analysis, and execution of corporate and business unit strategies. The specialist will focus on strategic analysis, market intelligence, performance tracking, and supporting strategic initiatives to drive sustainable growth, value creation, and competitive advantage for the company.

Key Accountabilities

• Support the formulation of corporate and business unit strategies, ensuring alignment with the company’s vision and long-term objectives.
• Conduct strategic analyses, including market assessments, competitive benchmarking, and industry trend analysis.
• Prepare strategic insights, position papers, and recommendations to inform leadership decision-making.

Business Planning and Performance Monitoring

• Assist in annual and multi-year strategic planning and business planning cycles.
• Track strategic initiatives, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and milestones against approved strategic plans.
• Analyze performance gaps and propose corrective actions or improvement opportunities.

Market Intelligence and Research

• Monitor market trends, customer dynamics, regulatory developments, and competitive movements.
• Develop market intelligence reports to support growth, diversification, and investment decisions.
• Support feasibility studies, business cases, and investment evaluations.

Cross-Functional Coordination and Strategic Projects

• Coordinate with Finance, Operations, HR, and other functions to facilitate strategy execution.
• Support alignment between corporate strategy and functional or business unit plans.
• Assist in preparing executive presentations, dashboards, and materials for senior management and governance forums.
• Support strategic transformation, growth, and optimization initiatives as assigned.
• Ensure documentation, follow-up, and reporting on strategic initiatives.

Experience Required

Candidates should possess 2-5 years of relevant experience in strategy, business development, or a related analytical field.
