This extensive project encompasses three open pit mining operations, a processing plant, tailings management facilities, and essential supporting infrastructure, including temporary and permanent accommodation for a construction workforce of around 5000 employees.

The Role: Workforce Services Representative

Bechtel is seeking a Workforce Services Representative for the Ar Rjum Project. This full-time position is crucial for establishing and executing all Workforce Services systems, processes, and compliance requirements. The primary focus of this role is to ensure the welfare and conditions provided to the construction workforce align with Saudi Arabian regulatory and project requirements. The representative will assist in delivering consistent, compliant, and effective Workforce Services across the project, with a particular emphasis on subcontractor workforce oversight in an EPCM environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the establishment, implementation, and management of all Workforce Services systems, procedures, and compliance frameworks for the Ar Rjum Project.
• Provide leadership and direction to Project Contractors teams in line with approved planning and project phase requirements.
• Oversee subcontractor workforce compliance with labour laws, contractual obligations, workforce welfare standards, and Project requirements.
• Support workforce mobilisation, onboarding, access approvals, and demobilisation processes in coordination with subcontractors and Project stakeholders.
• Maintain and audit workforce-related documentation, records, and reporting to ensure transparency and compliance.
• Support positive workforce and labour relations through proactive engagement, issue resolution, and alignment with Workforce Services leadership.
• Support sub-functions of Workforce Services on the Project, including Camp/Accommodation services, contractor workforce oversight, workforce mobilization, and performance management.
• Coordinate closely with Construction, ES&H, Security, and Project HR to ensure integrated workforce delivery.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 0-1 years of relevant experience is required for this role.

Work Environment and Location

This position requires residence at the Ar Rjum Project accommodation facility, commonly referred to as the project camp. The role also involves periodic regional travel to support various project and business needs within the Makkah region, including cities such as Makkah and Taif.
