About the Role
Sheraton Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator for a full-time position in Al Madinah (Medina). This role is essential for maintaining efficient HR operations, supporting both employees and management with HR-related inquiries, and ensuring the smooth administration of personnel records and office functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and maintain file systems, draft office correspondence, and manage HR office supplies.
- Handle phone calls, record messages, and create personnel files for new employees.
- Assist incoming candidates with application procedures and maintain a clean, accessible application space.
- Respond to employee and management inquiries regarding company and HR programs, policies, and guidelines.
- Inform HR management of employee relations issues within the division or hotel.
- Maintain the confidentiality and security of hotel and employee records, files, and information.
- Ensure proper maintenance of all employee records and files, including interview documents and I-9 forms.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures, maintain a professional appearance, and protect company assets.
- Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe working conditions to the manager.
- Communicate professionally, prepare accurate written documents, and answer telephones using proper protocol.
- Cultivate positive working relationships, support team goals, and respond appropriately to employee concerns.
- Ensure compliance with quality expectations and standards.
- Enter and locate work-related information using computers and/or point-of-sale systems.
- Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.
Required Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent General Educational Development (GED) certificate.
- Experience: At least 1 year of related work experience.
- Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience is required for this position.
Work Environment and Expectations
The role requires adherence to company standards, including maintaining confidentiality and ensuring the security of sensitive information. The coordinator will also be expected to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing 10 pounds or less without assistance, as part of general office duties.
