Registered Nurse IVF

About the Role

Fakeeh Care Group is seeking a Registered Nurse IVF to join their team in Medina, Al Madinah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position requires 2-5 years of experience and focuses on providing comprehensive nursing care and support to patients undergoing In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for IVF procedures, including monitoring and assisting with ovarian stimulation, egg retrieval, and embryo transfer.
• Educate patients about the IVF process, including pre-procedure preparations and post-procedure care.
• Administer prescribed medications such as hormone injections, oral medications, and other fertility treatments.
• Monitor patients for side effects and adverse reactions to medications.
• Conduct regular assessments of patients’ health status, including vital signs, symptoms, and response to treatment.
• Assist in IVF procedures like egg retrieval and embryo transfer, ensuring protocol adherence and patient comfort.
• Provide technical support during laboratory procedures, including specimen preparation and sample handling.
• Educate patients and their families on fertility treatments, the IVF process, potential outcomes, fall prevention, and lifestyle adjustments.
• Offer guidance on medication regimens, recognizing side effects, and understanding laboratory results.
• Provide emotional support to patients and their families, addressing concerns related to fertility treatments.
• Facilitate communication between patients and the IVF team to ensure clear understanding of treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including treatment plans, medication administration, and procedural outcomes.
• Document complications, patient interactions, and follow-up care instructions.
• Schedule and coordinate patient appointments for consultations, procedures, and follow-ups.
• Collaborate with reproductive endocrinologists, embryologists, and lab technicians to coordinate patient care.
• Follow strict infection control procedures to ensure a sterile environment and patient safety.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of medications and biological samples.
• Adhere to all regulatory and ethical standards related to fertility treatments and patient confidentiality.
• Facilitate the admission and discharge process for patients.

• Participate in ongoing education and training related to reproductive health and IVF technologies.

Experience Required

Candidates should possess 2-5 years of relevant experience in a clinical setting, preferably within fertility or reproductive health.
