Senior Housekeeper Supervisor

About the Role

Sheraton Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Senior Housekeeper Supervisor to join its team in Medina, Madinah. This full-time position involves overseeing housekeeping operations and ensuring high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction within the hotel.

Key Responsibilities

• Enter the status of cleaned rooms and complete checklists to report cleanliness and condition of assigned areas.
• Complete all required Housekeeping paperwork and identify room assignments and cleaning types.
• Inspect guest rooms after cleaning by housekeepers to ensure quality standards are met.
• Respond promptly to requests from guests and other departments, following procedures for room access and vacancy verification.
• Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees.
• Serve as a role model, ensuring adherence to company, safety, and security policies and procedures.
• Report maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries; complete safety training and certifications.
• Ensure proper storage of flammable materials and maintain a professional appearance and uniform.
• Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.
• Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards, anticipate service needs, and assist individuals with disabilities.
• Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards; recommend and implement improvements for efficiency, productivity, quality, safety, and cost-savings.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships, support team goals, and communicate professionally.
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to move, lift, carry, and place objects weighing up to 55 pounds without assistance, and over 55 pounds with assistance.
• Capability to push and pull a loaded housekeeping cart and other work-related machinery over sloping and uneven surfaces.
• Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
• Stand, sit, kneel, or walk for extended periods across an entire work shift.
• Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
• Enter and locate work-related information using computers and/or point of sale systems.
• Visually verify and interpret written documents.

Qualifications and Experience

• Education: High school diploma or *** equivalent.
• Related Work Experience: At least 1 year of related work experience.
• Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience is required for this role.
• License or Certification: None specified.
