About the Contracting Representative Role

Petro Rabigh is seeking a Contracting Representative to join its team in Rabigh. This full-time position involves managing and executing contracting processes within the oil and gas and petrochemical industries. The role requires a professional with a strong understanding of contract negotiation, administration, and procurement practices.

Role Overview and Responsibilities

The Contracting Representative will act as a key liaison in the analysis of bid responses, negotiation of offers, and preparation of counter-offers. This role is crucial in sourcing potential contractors, conducting service valuations, and managing prequalification processes. The representative will also be part of a negotiating team, contributing to fair and effective contract agreements. Maintaining high business standards and ethics is paramount to ensuring contracting fairness.

Key Duties and Tasks

  • Participate as the contract proponent representative in the professional analysis of bid responses and negotiation of offers.
  • Prepare counter-offers and contribute to negotiation strategies.
  • Source potential contractors for given projects and conduct service valuations.
  • Manage contractor prequalification processes.
  • Negotiate with contractors as part of a dedicated negotiating team.
  • Prepare company estimate documentation and review for technical accuracy.
  • Provide assistance in the procurement and administration of contracts.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this position should possess a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Engineering. A minimum of 3 years of in-depth experience in contracting specifically within the Oil and Gas or Petrochemical Industry is required. Experience with contract management practices in the Petro-Chemical sector is essential.

Required Skills and Knowledge

  • Understanding of processing contracts in SAP.
  • Knowledgeable in service procurement and contracting practices.
