About the Role

Al Salama Hospital is seeking a General Dentist to join our team in Rabigh. This permanent position involves providing comprehensive dental care, diagnosing and treating a variety of oral health issues, and performing routine dental procedures for our patients. The role requires 4-5 years of experience.

Role Overview

The General Dentist will be responsible for delivering high-quality dental services, including patient assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning. This role ensures patients receive appropriate care, from routine procedures to referrals to specialists when necessary, maintaining the hospital's standards for dental health.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform a full range of clinical activities in accordance with approved clinical core privileges.
• Assess patients' oral health and request necessary X-rays to accurately diagnose problems affecting teeth, gums, and jawbone.
• Execute general dental procedures, including restorations, scaling and polishing, fluoride application, impressions, and extractions.
• Provide non-surgical endodontic treatment and simple extractions of non-restorable teeth and retained roots.
• Explain procedures, diagnostic results, and treatment plans clearly to patients, and coordinate with other dentists and specialists as needed.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices to maintain dental health and prevent decay.
• Document and maintain complete, up-to-date patient medical records.
• Participate in departmental and hospital-wide quality management activities to ensure continuous improvement in patient care.

Experience and Work Type

Candidates should have 4-5 years of experience in general dentistry. This is a permanent position within Al Salama Hospital.
