We are seeking a Valve Technician II to join our team in Rabigh, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position requires 5-10 years of relevant experience and focuses on maintaining rotating equipment and mechanical systems.
Role Overview and Operational Focus
The Valve Technician II plays a crucial role in ensuring the optimal condition and performance of rotating equipment. This involves comprehensive installation, maintenance, and repair activities for both rotating equipment and mechanical systems, adhering strictly to established standards. The role also encompasses supervisory and coordination duties to ensure efficient workflow and compliance within maintenance operations.
Key Operational Responsibilities
- Allocate maintenance activities to various Technicians and assemble the team.
- Supervise all ongoing jobs and provide progress updates to the Foreman.
- Organize manpower resources, equipment, and materials availability for tasks.
- Arrange necessary work permits prior to the commencement of work.
- Provide technical advice to Technicians on the proper use of tools and equipment.
- Coordinate with Operations, Maintenance Planning, and Technical departments to execute and complete jobs effectively.
- Ensure that SAP data input, history, and actual hours are accurately maintained.
- Attend daily and weekly maintenance progress meetings.
Compliance and Safety Standards
- Maintain strict compliance with SATORP standards and guidelines in all activities.
- Ensure adherence to safe work practices, hazardous work regulations, and proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) usage according to SATORP standards.
- Encourage the reporting of Near Miss incidents, unsafe conditions, and acts to promote a proactive safety culture.
- Participate actively in Safety audits.
- Attend scheduled Safety and Technical training sessions.
Required Qualifications and Experience
Candidates for the Valve Technician II position should possess 5-10 years of experience in maintaining, installing, and repairing rotating equipment and mechanical systems. Demonstrated ability to supervise technicians, organize resources, and ensure compliance with operational and safety standards is essential for success in this role.
