Role Overview: Assembly Technician

Bray International is seeking a full-time Assembly Technician to support its Valve Automation Center (VAC) operations in Dammam, Eastern region. This hands-on role involves assembling, testing, inspecting, packaging, and supporting the delivery of high-quality valve automation products. The Assembly Technician plays a vital role in ensuring products are manufactured safely, accurately, and delivered on time, while also contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble valves, actuators, and automation products in accordance with work instructions and engineering drawings.
  • Perform functional testing, inspections, and quality checks to ensure product compliance.
  • Complete required production, testing, and quality documentation accurately and on time.
  • Support pressure testing and final product testing activities where applicable.
  • Assist with receiving, inventory control, packaging, and shipping activities as required.
  • Identify, document, and report quality or safety concerns in a timely manner.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment.
  • Participate in continuous improvement and 5S initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Technical diploma, vocational training, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Mechanical and/or electrical assembly experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, work instructions, and technical documentation.
  • Basic computer skills and experience completing production documentation.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and workplace safety.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Proactive, reliable, and self-motivated with a strong work ethic.

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Previous experience within a Valve Automation Center (VAC) environment.
  • Experience with valves, actuators, controls, or instrumentation products.
  • Experience performing pressure testing and final product testing.
  • Forklift certification and/or warehouse experience.

This role operates within Bray International's Valve Automation Center, where the Assembly Technician provides hands-on expertise to build, test, inspect, and prepare products for shipment. The position directly influences product quality, customer satisfaction, and on-time delivery performance, supporting the overall efficiency and success of the manufacturing operation.
