Job Description

About the Role

Emerson is seeking a Welder Instrument Builder to join their team in Dammam, Eastern Region. This full-time role is responsible for the assembly, welding, testing, and inspection of instrument components, ensuring adherence to manufacturing, quality, and safety standards. The position supports production operations through high-quality workmanship and efficient execution of manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform assembly, welding, testing, and inspection activities for instrument products and components.
  • Conduct TIG welding on various materials, ensuring compliance with quality and safety requirements.
  • Set up, operate, and maintain welding equipment and related tools.
  • Execute product testing, quality verification, basic troubleshooting, and repairs as needed.
  • Inspect completed welds and assemblies to ensure conformance to specifications and quality standards.
  • Support calibration and assembly activities in accordance with manufacturing procedures.
  • Maintain equipment, tools, and spare parts to ensure operational readiness.
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing and Production Engineers to improve processes, quality, and productivity.
  • Ensure accurate adherence to Quality Management System requirements.
  • Support lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives, recommending improvements related to safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance.
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and clean work environment following 5S principles.
  • Perform multiple production tasks to support operational flexibility and job rotation requirements.
  • Follow all safety procedures and promptly report unsafe conditions.
