About the Role: Accountant-General

Marriott International is seeking an Accountant-General to join our team in Riyadh. This full-time position is designed for candidates with 0-1 years of experience, focusing on ensuring the accuracy of financial figures, postings, and documents. The role involves organizing and maintaining comprehensive financial records, processing transactions, and preparing various financial reports in alignment with company policies and procedures.

Core Financial Responsibilities

• Verify the accuracy of figures, postings, and financial documents.
• Organize, secure, and maintain all financial files, records, cash, and cash equivalents according to established policies and procedures.
• Record, store, access, and analyze computerized financial information effectively.
• Classify, code, and summarize numerical and financial data to compile and maintain financial records, utilizing journals, ledgers, and computer systems.
• Prepare, maintain, audit, and distribute statistical, financial, accounting, auditing, and payroll reports and tables.
• Complete period-end closing procedures and associated reports as specified.

Transaction Management and Compliance

• Prepare, review, reconcile, and issue bills, invoices, and account statements in accordance with company procedures.
• Follow up on and resolve past due accounts and vendor invoices until full payment or resolution is achieved.
• Prepare daily consolidated deposits of cash received by all cash handling employees.
• Document, maintain, communicate, and act upon all identified Cash Variances.
• Prepare, maintain, and administer all cashier banks and contracts.

Professional Conduct and Team Collaboration

• Adhere to all company policies and procedures, ensuring a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance.
• Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets, as well as the privacy and security of guests and coworkers.
• Communicate professionally and clearly, both verbally and in writing, and answer telephones with appropriate etiquette.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships, supporting the team to achieve common goals, and listening and responding appropriately to employee concerns.
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.

Required Experience and Physical Demands

Candidates for this Accountant-General position should possess 0-1 years of relevant experience. The role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage financial data accurately.
