Fursan Travel is seeking a motivated Accounting Specialist to join its Finance team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time position focused on maintaining accurate financial records and supporting key accounting operations. Role Contribution and Context

The Accounting Specialist plays a crucial role in managing daily financial transactions, overseeing accounts payable and receivable processes, and performing essential reconciliations. This position also provides support for month-end closing procedures and financial reporting activities, ensuring compliance with company policies and established accounting standards. In line with Saudization initiatives, priority will be given to qualified Saudi nationals for this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Record daily financial transactions accurately within the accounting system.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes efficiently.
• Prepare and reconcile customer and supplier statements.
• Follow up on outstanding balances to ensure timely collections and payments.
• Prepare aging reports for both receivables and payables.
• Perform bank reconciliations and resolve any identified discrepancies.
• Issue invoices, credit notes, and other related financial documents.
• Support month-end closing procedures and financial reporting activities.
• Ensure strict compliance with company policies and established accounting standards.
• Coordinate with internal departments to effectively resolve accounting issues.
• Maintain Excel trackers and various financial reports as required.
• Support audit processes by providing necessary documentation.

Qualifications and Experience

• 0-1 year of experience in an accounting or finance-related role.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain accurate financial records and manage accounting processes.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in using accounting systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Priority will be given to qualified Saudi nationals in support of Saudization initiatives.

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role operates within the company's Finance department, collaborating with various internal teams to ensure seamless financial operations.
