The Role: Accounts Payable Accountant

Qantara Development Investment Co. is seeking an Accounts Payable Accountant to join its finance team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is central to managing the complete accounts payable cycle. The role involves ensuring that all supplier transactions are accurately recorded, properly supported, approved in accordance with company policies, and settled on time.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and verify supplier invoices.
• Perform three-way matching of invoices with purchase orders (POs) and goods received notes (GRNs).
• Reconcile supplier accounts regularly.
• Prepare payments to suppliers.
• Manage accounting for advances and prepayments.
• Ensure correct treatment of withholding tax (WHT) and Value Added Tax (VAT).
• Monitor Accounts Payable (AP) aging reports.
• Resolve discrepancies with suppliers efficiently.
• Maintain complete and organized supporting documentation for all transactions.
• Support monthly financial closing activities and provide accurate AP reports and reconciliations to management and auditors.

Required Experience

Candidates for this role should possess 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in an Accounts Payable function. This experience should include a comprehensive understanding of the accounts payable cycle and related financial processes.
