AI Consulting Governance & Strategy Expert (AI Community)

About the Role

TELUS Digital is seeking an AI Consulting Governance & Strategy Expert to join its AI Community in Riyadh. This part-time role focuses on the responsible and strategic application of AI, designing frameworks that enable organizations to scale AI safely and effectively. The specialist will translate regulatory requirements into actionable roadmaps, ensuring AI solutions are ethical, transparent, and impactful. The position requires 2-5 years of experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with executive stakeholders to identify high-value AI use cases and align them with long-term business objectives and ROI targets.
• Design and implement robust AI governance structures, including accountability models (RACI), policy guidelines, and ethical review processes.
• Lead cross-functional assessments to ensure alignment with global standards (*, EU AI Act, GDPR, NIST RMF) and mitigate risks related to bias, privacy, and security.
• Develop rubrics for Model Explainability and Fairness, ensuring AI-driven decisions are traceable, unbiased, and socially responsible.
• Facilitate workshops and training programs to bridge the "AI expertise barrier," fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making and ethical AI adoption.

Work Environment and Collaboration

This role offers the opportunity to work remotely as part of a global AI Community comprising over 1 million contributors and experts. The position involves collaborating with specialists across more than 20 domains and 500 languages and dialects. Contributors can manage their own schedules while contributing to AI systems and products.
