About the Alternative Investments Vice President Role

Taleem REIT Fund is seeking an Alternative Investments Vice President to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time position is central to the effective and efficient management of existing alternative investment mandates and actively contributing to new initiatives within the Alternative Investments division.

Role Purpose and Contribution

The primary objective of this role is to oversee and optimize the performance of assigned alternative investment portfolios. The Vice President will be expected to proactively engage in all related initiatives, ensuring strategic alignment and contributing to the growth and successful execution of the fund's alternative investment strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage or co-manage existing real estate funds and projects within approved parameters, maximizing total return for each assigned asset through property efficiency analysis and identifying performance improvement opportunities.
  • Participate in all negotiations (developers, property managers, service providers, or potential buyers and sellers) and establish appropriate operational structures and working processes to ensure all contracts are fit and proper.
  • Identify and shortlist suitable opportunities and strategies, with a focus across income-generating projects, development, or a mixture of both.
  • In the product development or acquisition phase, participate in product structuring, due diligence processes, operational setup, and contract finalization in liaison and support with relevant internal and external parties.
  • Develop appropriate cash flow models to determine the viability of projects.
  • Undertake market research on competitor products and stay abreast of global economic and investment trends using external and internal research and views.
  • Assist in formulating an end-to-end plan for launch, considering new product committee, fund management issues, operations, accounting and tax, risk, compliance, legal, marketing, and regulatory requirements.
  • Produce periodic reports to investors as required by regulation.
  • Produce reports to the fund's board on project progress and finances as required by the fund board.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or Accounting.
  • 7-9 years of experience in a relevant field.

Work Type and Location

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role requires a dedicated presence to manage and contribute to the fund's alternative investment portfolio and strategic initiatives.
