About Aventus

Aventus is a leading banking group operating in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The organization is seeking an experienced professional to manage its anti-fraud and compliance systems, ensuring robust financial crime prevention across its operations in KSA.

The Role: Anti Fraud & Compliance Systems Manager

The Anti Fraud & Compliance Systems Manager will be responsible for overseeing the technology platforms that support financial crime compliance, sanctions screening, transaction monitoring, and fraud prevention within the bank's Saudi Arabian operations. This full-time position requires a professional with over 10 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and manage the technology strategy, roadmap, and governance for financial crime and anti-fraud systems, ensuring alignment with SAMA requirements and broader business objectives.
  • Supervise key platforms for sanctions and name screening, AML transaction monitoring, investigations, and fraud detection, maintaining their effectiveness, availability, and regulatory compliance.
  • Lead system upgrades, migrations, and enhancements, collaborating with Technology, Compliance, Fraud departments, business stakeholders, and external vendors.
  • Manage and optimize anti-fraud technology solutions, including SAS Fraud Management and Group-IB, alongside Firco and other AML/Financial Crime Risk Management solutions.
  • Provide management information and reporting on system performance, alert volumes, tuning activities, and regulatory metrics, while supporting audits, inspections, and independent reviews.
  • Act as a senior technology partner to Compliance and Fraud functions, managing vendor relationships and ensuring timely delivery of regulatory and technology requirements.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Over 10 years of experience in a relevant field.
  • Strong understanding of banking operations, financial crime technology, and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience with SAMA (Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority) regulations and Saudi banking practices is highly advantageous.
  • Demonstrated strong stakeholder and people management skills.
  • Ability to provide strategic direction for technology roadmaps and collaborate effectively with senior Compliance, Fraud, and Technology stakeholders.
