Architectural Engineer

About the Role

Euro Group for Engineering Consultancy – Saudi Arabia is seeking an experienced Architectural Engineer to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time position requires a professional with a strong background in architectural design, technical review, and BIM implementation, specifically within the Saudi Arabian market. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, reviewing, and coordinating architectural designs, ensuring compliance with local regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and lead architectural design concepts, design development, and construction documentation.
• Review and validate architectural designs, drawings, specifications, and technical submissions to ensure compliance with project requirements and applicable codes.
• Coordinate architectural works with structural, MEP, and other disciplines.
• Prepare and manage BIM/Revit models throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct design reviews, clash detection, and multidisciplinary coordination meetings.
• Ensure compliance with Saudi Building Code (SBC), Municipality regulations, and Saudi Civil Defense requirements.
• Review shop drawings, material submittals, RFIs, and technical proposals.
• Support authority submissions and approval processes.
• Provide technical guidance during construction and resolve design-related issues.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or Architectural Engineering.
• Minimum of 8-10 years of relevant experience in architectural engineering.
• Proven experience in the Saudi Arabian market.
• Expertise in designing and reviewing architectural projects across concept, detailed design, and construction stages.
• Advanced proficiency in BIM/Revit.
• Strong knowledge of Saudi Building Codes (SBC) and Civil Defense regulations.
• Demonstrated experience in multidisciplinary design coordination and technical reviews.
