Ghobash Group is seeking a Saudi National to join Tawazon as an Assistant Accountant in Riyadh. Founded in 1992, Tawazon specializes in supplying raw materials to various industries, including paint and ink, construction chemicals, packaging, fiberglass, plastics, rubber, food, and polyurethane. The company delivers products directly from their countries of origin or from warehouses located in Dubai, Riyadh, Jeddah, Jakarta, Durban, Mumbai Chennai, and Nairobi, while also providing logistics services for leading petrochemical manufacturers in Saudi Arabia.

Role Overview

The Assistant Accountant will be responsible for executing core financial functions, including budgeting, forecasting, ledger management, reconciliations, and compliance. This full-time position ensures financial accuracy, timely reporting, and supports decision-making through financial insights. The role demands precision, integrity, and the ability to work under pressure within deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain financial records, invoices, and ledgers.
• Coordinate daily accounting-related operations to support warehouse department activities.
• Manage general ledger entries, ensuring journal accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Reconcile bank accounts, vendor statements, and customer accounts.
• Support payroll processing and inter-department cost allocations.

Qualifications and Experience

• Saudi National.
• 1-2 years of relevant experience in accounting or a similar financial role.
• Demonstrated ability to ensure financial accuracy and timely reporting.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to integrity.
• Ability to manage tasks effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.

Work Environment
