Role Overview

Qiddiya is seeking an Assistant Manager - Motorsport Strategy to join its team in Riyadh, Riyadh Province. This full-time role is responsible for supporting the strategic planning and delivery of Qiddiya's Motorsport portfolio, encompassing events, intellectual property (IP) partnerships, and operator appointment initiatives. The position contributes to the development of business cases, strategic analyses, and cross-functional programs, ensuring alignment with Qiddiya's long-term vision.

Strategic Planning and Development Support

The Assistant Manager will support the strategic development and delivery of Qiddiya Motorsport assets across various domains, including Motorsport Events, IP partnerships, and Operator Appointment. This involves contributing to the development of feasibility studies, business cases, and financial assessments for new motorsport initiatives. Activities include conducting market research, demand analysis, and financial modelling to inform strategic decisions.

Project Coordination and Procurement

A key aspect of this role involves coordinating cross-functional projects with internal stakeholders such as Development, Asset Management, Procurement, Legal, and Finance, as well as external consultants. The objective is to ensure that program milestones are achieved efficiently. Additionally, the role supports operator procurement activities, including the preparation of Request for Proposal (RFP) documentation, governance papers, evaluation processes, and operator mobilisation programs.

Partnership and Event Management Assistance

The Assistant Manager will assist in the management of international motorsport events and relationships with rights holders. This includes supporting event planning, ensuring operational readiness, and coordinating commercial aspects. The role also involves supporting the management of strategic IP partnerships and commercial initiatives, monitoring contractual obligations, partner deliverables, and activation programs to ensure successful execution.

Reporting and Documentation Management

Responsibilities include preparing high-quality presentations, reports, business cases, and Executive Committee materials to facilitate strategic decision-making. The role also requires maintaining program plans, action trackers, risk registers, and governance documentation, ensuring accurate reporting and timely delivery of information to relevant stakeholders.

Required Experience

Candidates for this position should possess 2 to 5 years of relevant professional experience. The role requires building and maintaining effective relationships with both internal stakeholders and external partners to support the successful delivery of the Motorsport Strategy.
