About the Role

Qiddiya is seeking an Associate Director IT BRM to serve as the strategic IT lead for its Motorsport portfolio in Riyadh. This full-time role acts as the primary liaison between business leadership and technology teams, ensuring that technology investments align with business objectives, asset strategies, and operational requirements. The position is responsible for driving technology demand management, portfolio governance, roadmap development, and operational readiness across all Motorsport assets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary IT relationship owner for Motorsport business leadership, translating business strategy into technology roadmaps.
  • Build trusted relationships with asset executives, operators, consultants, and delivery partners, ensuring technology decisions support business outcomes and operational objectives.
  • Own the Motorsport demand intake process, evaluating, prioritizing, and governing business requests, and leading capability mapping and solution assessment activities.
  • Develop multi-year Motorsport technology roadmaps, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and cybersecurity requirements.
  • Identify opportunities for platform reuse, standardization, and innovation, driving emerging technology adoption in areas such as smart venues, race operations, fan engagement, digital ticketing, sports analytics, IoT, and operational technology systems.
  • Lead IT readiness assessments for new Motorsport assets, defining technology mobilization plans and coordinating technology requirements with operators and business users.
  • Ensure technology readiness before asset opening and major events, tracking dependencies across supporting facilities and core assets.

Motorsport Technology Portfolio Oversight

This role oversees technology demand and readiness for a diverse range of Motorsport-related assets. These include Motorsport Park, Speed Park, Race Tracks, Visitor & Fan Experience Systems, Ticketing Platforms, Broadcast & Media Infrastructure, Venue Operations Systems, Security Command Centers, Smart Venue & IoT Platforms, Parking and Mobility Systems, and Operational Technology (OT) integrations.

Strategic Ownership and Collaboration

The Associate Director IT BRM is positioned as the single strategic owner for Motorsport technology demand, roadmap, readiness, and executive engagement. The Motorsport domain is characterized by a high-integration environment with significant stakeholder engagement and roadmap ownership requirements. Delivery execution for projects remains with the PMO, Architecture, Cybersecurity, Data, Infrastructure, and project delivery teams.

Required Experience

Candidates should possess 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in IT business relationship management or a similar strategic technology leadership role. Demonstrated experience in technology demand management, portfolio governance, and strategic roadmap development is essential. The ability to build and maintain trusted relationships with diverse stakeholders is critical for success in this position.
