The Opportunity

Alvarez & Marsal is seeking an Associate Director, Restructuring to join its established practice in Riyadh. This full-time role involves providing critical support to companies facing underperformance or acute liquidity crises. The Associate Director will work directly with company management to stabilize financial and operational performance, contributing to client projects through the management of multiple work streams. Candidates should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience in restructuring or a related field.

Key Responsibilities

  • Offer critical support to companies that are underperforming or experiencing an acute liquidity crisis.
  • Work directly with company management to stabilize financial and operational performance.
  • Collaborate with Senior Directors and Managing Directors to deliver client projects through the management of multiple work streams.
  • Support business development activities, including the creation of client pitches and proposals to win new mandates.

Project Scope

Projects undertaken by the Restructuring practice include, but are not limited to:

  • Financial and Operational Restructuring
  • Balance Sheet Restructuring
  • Cash and liquidity management and forecasting
  • Options analysis and contingency planning
  • Interim management roles
  • Preparation and validation of business plans
  • Organizational restructurings
  • Profit Improvement (Sales Improvement and Cost Reduction)
  • Independent business reviews
