The program encompasses over 200 projects, including cultural and heritage assets, F&B, retail, hotels, commercial buildings, and educational facilities.

The Role of Associate Director - Risk

As an Associate Director - Risk, you will lead the implementation and administration of a comprehensive range of risk management services. This role is crucial for supporting the PMO commission and involves providing line management leadership and guidance to others within the Client Organisation, the PMO team, and the wider Mace business as required.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead risk management performance and ensure effective frameworks and strategies across assigned commissions.
• Act as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert, building strong client and stakeholder relationships.
• Direct clients, consultants, contractors, and project teams on all risk management matters.
• Deliver quantitative risk analysis (cost and time) and advise on contingency adequacy in reporting cycles.
• Ensure compliance with Mace Control Centre standards, client requirements, and prevailing legislation.
• Provide line management, mentoring, and career development support to junior risk managers.
• Drive innovation and align practices with industry best standards to achieve service excellence.
• Champion sustainability by integrating carbon risk management into project delivery, supporting the net zero transition.

Candidate Requirements

• Proven leadership experience in risk management on complex construction projects.
• Expert knowledge of risk tools, techniques, and reporting suites.
• A relevant degree combined with chartered status or professional membership.
