About the Role

Parsons Corporation is seeking a highly specialized and experienced BIM Manager to join its team for the prestigious Qiddiya Project in Riyadh. This full-time role involves developing and maintaining detailed digital models using Building Information Modelling (BIM) software, ensuring alignment with architectural, engineering, and project precision and compliance requirements. The BIM Manager implements and oversees BIM processes and standards, leads technical excellence in modeling for the team, and provides guidance and support on all BIM-related matters. With approximately 10 years of experience, this position acts as the primary technical authority for model development, quality assurance, and digital coordination across projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and define efficient plans and solutions for complex digital models using BIM software, ensuring alignment with project requirements.
• Oversee BIM functionalities, practices, and procedures for assigned projects, providing expertise and ensuring data accuracy through regular quality reviews.
• Manage technical excellence in model delivery, including team guidance, preparation of model assurance reports, and reviewing models for compliance.
• Lead complex plan and model production, applying a risk-averse approach and recommending mitigation measures for identified risks.
• Lead efforts to streamline and optimize existing BIM processes and workflows, guiding task execution and team coordination.
• Provide input for delivery estimates and implement standard practices for developing model and drawing deliverable estimates.
• Serve as subject matter expert and primary contact to clients on all technical modeling and BIM process matters.
• Manage hardware, software, and database maintenance schedules related to BIM and CAD environments.
• Participate in budget and cost forecasting analysis for BIM-related activities in support of the management team.
• Collaborate with project teams for effective model integration across disciplines (architecture, structure, MEP, civil, systems).
• Provide BIM-related input to clients and other parties working on the same project, ensuring consistent and coordinated digital delivery.
• Support preparation of competitive technical and commercial proposals, providing BIM methodology, scope, resource, and risk input.
• Generate detailed BIM reports, including key performance indicators (KPIs), model quality metrics, and coordination status.
• Perform in an advisory capacity to senior management on BIM strategy, tools, workflows, and resourcing.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline (Architecture, Engineering, or related field), or equivalent work experience.
• Approximately 10 years of related work experience in BIM modeling, coordination, or digital delivery, including several years in a lead or management capacity.
• Expert knowledge of core BIM software packages and workflows (*, Autodesk Revit and related tools).
• Expert understanding of Quality Assurance and Quality Control practices for BIM, with the ability to guide teams in implementation.
• Expert proficiency in essential BIM and CAD processes and best practices in development, compliance, and implementation.
• Experience supervising catalogue compliance, development, and use (*, 2D symbology, families, parametric components).

Essential Skills and Expertise

• Ability to clearly define and provide technical guidance on BIM queries, clarifying scope ambiguities and modeling requirements.
• Proven skill in developing complex designs, plan details, and modeling activities using BIM tools.
• Ability to perform in an operational lead capacity for model development and production management.
• Ability to supervise modeling plan production, detailing, and use of advanced modeling software.
• Experience in reviewing output, assessing production capacity and capability, and refining advanced modeling principles.
• Ability to communicate modeling technical and non-technical subjects clearly with management, engineering, and production staff.
• Strong management and communication skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple model authors and stakeholders.
• Ability to develop baseline schedules for modeling tasks, track team progress, coordinate staffing plans, and guide staff to produce well-organized deliverables.
• Proficiency in conducting model production and assessing task team capacity and capability.
• Proficiency in implementing clash detection and coordination within single disciplines, with awareness of multidisciplinary coordination requirements.
• Ability to stay engaged with current technology and industry trends as they apply to BIM, CAD, and common data environments.
• Ability to provide advanced support, lead, and direct staff in using Common Data Environments (CDE) (*, ProjectWise, Autodesk Construction Cloud), CAD, and BIM software.

Desired Attributes

• BIM-related certification (*, Autodesk Certified Professional, recognized BIM Manager certification) is preferred.
