Boiler Technician

About the Role

Le Meridien in Riyadh is seeking a full-time Boiler Technician to join its team. This role is ideal for candidates with 0-1 years of experience, focusing on essential maintenance tasks within the property. The Boiler Technician will primarily perform routine maintenance on property vehicles and execute preventative maintenance on various tools and equipment.

Core Responsibilities

• Perform minor routine maintenance on property vehicles, including checking oil, fluid levels, tire pressure/wear, charging batteries, and replacing spark plugs.
• Execute preventative maintenance on tools and equipment, including cleaning and lubrication.
• Maintain proper maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies as needed.
• Maintain daily logs of operation, maintenance, and safety activities, including test results, instrument readings, and details of equipment malfunctions and maintenance work.

Safety and Compliance

• Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures.
• Report maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries promptly.
• Complete all required safety training and certifications.
• Properly store flammable materials in designated areas.

Professional Conduct and Teamwork

• Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional at all times.
• Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.
• Communicate with colleagues and supervisors using clear and professional language.
• Prepare and review written documents accurately and completely.
• Answer telephones using appropriate etiquette.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with team members.
• Support the team effectively to achieve common goals and objectives.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance.
• Capability to grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
• Capacity to visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines to identify defects or issues.
• Ability to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping as required for tasks.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess 0-1 years of experience in a maintenance or technical support role. A foundational understanding of vehicle and equipment maintenance is essential, along with the ability to adhere to strict safety protocols and maintain accurate operational logs.
