Role Overview
Johnson & Johnson MedTech is seeking a Business Unit Manager, Wound Closure to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role, which includes a commission-based compensation structure, is responsible for leading the commercial performance of the assigned business by developing and executing strategic business plans, driving sustainable growth, and ensuring exceptional customer engagement. The manager will lead, coach, and develop a high-performing sales team while collaborating cross-functionally to deliver value to healthcare providers and improve patient outcomes across the Kingdom.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver annual sales, market share, profitability, and strategic objectives.
- Develop and execute business and account strategies aligned with company priorities.
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing commercial team.
- Build strategic relationships with key surgeons, hospitals, procurement teams, and healthcare stakeholders.
- Lead forecasting, business planning, pricing, portfolio optimization, and performance reviews.
- Partner with Marketing, Medical Affairs, Finance, Supply Chain, Customer Service, and Regulatory teams.
- Ensure compliance with the Johnson & Johnson Credo, Health Care Compliance policies, and local regulations.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field; an MBA is preferred.
- 7–10+ years of commercial experience within the medical devices or healthcare industry.
- Proven leadership experience with strong strategic and financial acumen.
Required Skills and Attributes
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and coaching skills.
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic is an advantage.
