About the Opportunity

Hays is seeking a highly experienced CCTV Manufacturing Expert to join a team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a contract position focused on providing technical leadership in the design, development, manufacturing, testing, and deployment of advanced CCTV and video surveillance products.

Role Summary

The successful candidate will possess deep expertise in camera hardware technologies, embedded systems, manufacturing processes, quality assurance, and emerging AI-enabled surveillance solutions. This role involves contributing to the development and commercialization of world-class surveillance products, leveraging extensive experience with leading international CCTV manufacturing companies.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of CCTV cameras and surveillance hardware solutions.
• Provide technical expertise in camera technologies, including fixed, PTZ, dome, bullet, thermal, panoramic, and AI-enabled cameras.
• Oversee optical system design, including image sensors, lenses, infrared illumination, low-light imaging, and video processing technologies.
• Support hardware design and development activities involving PCBs, semiconductors, processors, SoCs, memory components, power management systems, and firmware integration.
• Evaluate and optimize manufacturing processes, including product assembly, calibration, production efficiency, and quality control.
• Establish and monitor product quality standards, testing procedures, and reliability programs.
• Lead product validation activities, including environmental, thermal, vibration, ingress protection, and lifecycle testing.
• Provide technical guidance on AI-enabled video analytics, edge computing, intelligent image processing, and video compression technologies.
• Support CCTV system integration with Video Management Systems (VMS), networking infrastructure, storage platforms, and access control systems.
• Conduct technology evaluations, technical due diligence, product benchmarking, and supplier assessments.
• Develop product lifecycle strategies and roadmap recommendations for next-generation surveillance technologies.
• Advise stakeholders on manufacturing best practices, supply chain considerations, and product innovation opportunities.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics, Telecommunications, or a related discipline. A Master's Degree is preferred.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in CCTV product development, surveillance technologies, or camera manufacturing.
• Proven experience working with top international CCTV manufacturing firms.
• Strong expertise in surveillance hardware design, manufacturing, testing, and deployment.
• Practical experience with end-to-end product lifecycle management.
