The Role: Chef De Partie

Plaza Premium Group is seeking a Chef De Partie to join its culinary team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position involves assisting in all aspects of kitchen operations within the company's airport lounges. The role focuses on ensuring high standards of food quality, hygiene, and presentation to deliver an excellent dining experience, while also supporting food preparation, stock control, and daily kitchen operations in line with company standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Follow and implement instructions provided by the Sous Chef and senior kitchen team members.
  • Assist in food preparation, cooking, and general kitchen duties as required.
  • Ensure all kitchen work areas, equipment, and workstations are maintained in a clean, tidy, and hygienic condition at all times.
  • Verify that food quality, portion sizes, and presentation consistently meet company standards.
  • Check the quality of ingredients during both ordering and delivery processes.
  • Support smooth kitchen operations and respond effectively to operational issues when they arise.
  • Assist in the preparation of weekly shift schedules and staff rosters.
  • Support inventory control, stock rotation, and food cost control measures.
  • Promote teamwork and contribute to the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of quality management systems.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Carry out any other duties assigned by the supervisor as operational needs dictate.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar culinary role within hotels, lounges, or catering operations.
  • Possession of a valid health certificate, as per Saudi regulations, is preferred.
  • Willingness and ability to work various shift duties as operational requirements demand.
