About the Role

PROVEN is seeking a Civil Engineer / Business Development Engineer to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is central to driving business growth, increasing contract volume, and expanding company revenues. The role involves developing and nurturing relationships with clients across government and private sectors, including real estate developers, contractors, and strategic partners, in line with PROVEN's strategic objectives. The successful candidate will also be responsible for identifying new opportunities, supporting prequalification and proposal activities, monitoring market trends and competitors, and enhancing the company’s client base.

Business Development & Client Engagement

  • Prepare and implement periodic business development plans.
  • Identify target clients among government entities, private sector organizations, real estate developers, contractors, and other potential business partners.
  • Open communication channels with prospective clients and represent the company professionally.
  • Build and maintain strong business relationships to support future opportunities.
  • Support the preparation and coordination of marketing campaigns.
  • Assist in preparing general proposals, presentations, and business development materials.
  • Manage and update the client database.
  • Follow up with clients to assess satisfaction and prepare periodic client relationship reports.

Prequalification & Registration

  • Register the company on supplier portals and with targeted government and private entities.
  • Prepare, update, and maintain company profiles, prequalification documents, certificates, and experience records.
  • Follow up on registration and qualification requests with relevant entities.
  • Ensure company documents are updated periodically and aligned with submission requirements.

Opportunity & Proposal Management

  • Monitor public and private tender opportunities relevant to the company’s services.
  • Coordinate the preparation and submission of proposals, expressions of interest, and other required documents.
  • Follow up on submitted proposals and maintain records of outcomes.
  • Build and maintain a database of business opportunities, clients, competitors, and market gaps.

Supplier Relationship Management

  • Establish communication channels with service suppliers and strategic partners relevant to the company’s activities.
  • Monitor supplier performance and support the evaluation of their services when required.

Required Experience

Candidates for this full-time role should possess 5-10 years of relevant professional experience in civil engineering and business development, preferably within the Saudi Arabian market.
