About the Civil Engineer Role

Brains Valley Company, a leading management and technology consulting firm in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, is seeking a qualified Civil Engineer to join its team in Riyadh. This role focuses on civil infrastructure projects, requiring the ability to secure and successfully deliver projects for both government and private sector clients. The position is available for full-time employment or project-based collaboration, offering flexible engagement.

Role Context and Focus

The Civil Engineer will play a central role in the full project lifecycle, from initial identification and acquisition through to successful execution and completion. This involves managing various stakeholders and ensuring adherence to project standards and timelines within the Saudi Arabian market, with a strong emphasis on civil infrastructure development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and secure projects within the government and private sectors.
  • Lead and supervise project execution from initiation through to completion.
  • Coordinate effectively with clients, consultants, contractors, and relevant government authorities.
  • Prepare and review both technical and commercial proposals.
  • Manage project teams, ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and timely delivery standards.
  • Monitor project costs, schedules, and overall performance.
  • Contribute to business development efforts and foster long-term client relationships.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience specifically within Saudi Arabia.
  • Proven experience in utility networks, asphalt paving, water tanks, and general infrastructure projects.
  • Strong experience collaborating with government entities and regulatory authorities in Saudi Arabia.
  • Demonstrated capability to identify, attract, and secure new business opportunities and projects.
  • Experience in preparing technical and financial proposals, conducting cost estimation, and reviewing Bills of Quantities (BOQs).

Required Skills and Technical Proficiency

  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to oversee project execution, quality, schedules, and budgets.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and client relationship management skills.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Office.
  • Good knowledge of Saudi engineering standards, specifications, and government procurement procedures.
  • PMP certification or other relevant professional certifications are considered an advantage.
