About the Role

Imploy is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join its engineering team in Riyadh. This full-time position involves leading the planning, design, execution, and supervision of civil engineering projects. The successful candidate will ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with established quality and regulatory standards.

Project Leadership

The Senior Civil Engineer will play a central role in project delivery, requiring a strong technical background and proven leadership capabilities. This position demands the ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams effectively throughout the entire project lifecycle, from initial concept through to completion and handover.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, design, and execution phases of civil engineering projects.
• Review engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation for accuracy and compliance.
• Supervise construction activities to ensure adherence to project requirements and standards.
• Coordinate effectively with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and various project stakeholders.
• Monitor project schedules, budgets, and optimize resource utilization.
• Conduct regular site inspections and provide solutions for engineering and construction challenges.
• Ensure strict compliance with Saudi building codes, engineering standards, and safety regulations.
• Review material specifications and approve technical submissions.
• Prepare comprehensive engineering reports, progress updates, and all necessary project documentation.
• Identify potential project risks and recommend practical engineering solutions to mitigate them.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide essential technical guidance throughout project execution.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and promote engineering best practices within the team.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in civil engineering roles.
• Proven leadership experience in managing civil engineering projects.
• Demonstrated technical strength in civil engineering principles and practices.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong coordination skills for multidisciplinary teams and various stakeholders.

Work Environment and Travel

This role is based in Riyadh and operates within a dynamic engineering team. The position requires a willingness to travel to various project sites as needed to conduct inspections, supervise activities, and resolve on-site challenges.
