Civil Inspector (Saudi National)

About the Role

Parsons is seeking a Civil Inspector to join their construction supervision team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is part of the prestigious Green Riyadh Project. The role involves inspecting irrigation installation works, ensuring quality and compliance, and supporting overall construction activities.

Role Overview

The Civil Inspector will be responsible for ensuring that all irrigation systems are executed in accordance with project specifications, approved drawings, and industry standards. This includes monitoring daily progress and quality on site, reporting discrepancies, and maintaining detailed records of activities and inspections.

Key Responsibilities

• Attend and respond promptly to Inspection Requests (IRs) submitted by the contractor.
• Assist in reviewing submitted shop drawings against contract drawings, specifications, local codes, statutory requirements, and international best practices.
• Report any works not in accordance with approved drawings and specifications to stakeholders for appropriate action.
• Monitor the quality of executed works and daily site progress.
• Maintain daily records of site activities, including progress photos, ensuring they are available for inspection.
• Prepare surveillance reports for work deficiencies and Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) as required.
• Ensure effective coordination between discipline-related works and all other disciplines.
• Provide technical input to resolve discipline-related issues that may arise on-site.
• Inspect construction works to ensure compliance with approved methods and contract requirements.
• Maintain records of inspections and executed work.
• Assist in or measure work completed when necessary.
• Observe site safety procedures.

Qualifications and Experience

• Candidates should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience.
• Demonstrated ability to inspect irrigation installation works and monitor quality.
• Familiarity with project specifications, approved drawings, and industry standards for civil and irrigation systems.

Work Environment

This is a full-time, site-based position located in Riyadh, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, working as part of a dedicated construction supervision team.
