The Role: Client Relations Specialist

Alvarez & Marsal is seeking a Client Relations Specialist to join its Client Relations team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is central to a recently restructured and refocused function that drives a proactive, data-led approach to market engagement. The team supports client registration, RFP management, and pipeline visibility for regional leadership.

As the operational engine of the Client Relations function, the Specialist will manage the day-to-day execution of client registration and RFP activities. This position involves leading and coordinating Client Relations Coordinators and Assistants, playing a key role in translating Business Development (BD) strategy into reliable execution and ensuring operational excellence across the region.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and delegate client registration and RFP management requests and tasks across all six current legal entities operating in the region.
• Lead the weekly Business Development (BD) team huddle to align priorities, pipeline updates, and coverage needs.
• Translate BD strategy into actionable workflows and operational plans, supporting the Client Relations Manager in execution and team coordination.
• Process client registration requests, refreshes, and renewals across all relevant client portals.
• Serve as the point of contact between clients and internal teams for meeting requests, clarification questions, and status updates.
• Ensure continuous and accurate documenting, tracking, and reporting by team members and team representatives of client registrations and RFP submissions.
• Oversee the management of bid and performance bond expiry timelines, coordinating extensions and renewals as required in collaboration with Treasury.
• Provide on-the-ground operational support, including the collection and facilitation of signed contracts and the collection and delivery of bid bonds.
• Provide backup coverage for Client Relations Coordinators and Assistants during peak workloads, leave, or absences.
• Support additional Client Relations and Business Development initiatives and undertake other ad hoc responsibilities as required.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this role should possess 5-10 years of relevant professional experience. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. Experience in client relations, business development support, or project coordination within a professional services context is preferred.

Location and Work Type

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, operating within the Middle East Client Relations team.
