The Cardiovascular team develops leading solutions for heart recovery, electrophysiology, and stroke, continually elevating standards of care for patients with stroke, heart failure, and atrial fibrillation (AFib).

Role Overview: Clinical Specialist Cardiovascular

Johnson & Johnson MedTech is seeking a Clinical Specialist Cardiovascular to join the team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time, commission-based role involves providing expert clinical product and technical assistance, along with training, to physicians and EP Lab Staff. The specialist will focus on the effective use of electrophysiology systems and catheter equipment, such as The CARTO® System and associated software modules and RF generators, during case procedures within an assigned geography.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert clinical and technical assistance and training on electrophysiology systems and catheter equipment to physicians and EP Lab Staff.
• Educate customers on all electrophysiology products to optimize effective usage through technical and clinical information and in-service training.
• Collaborate with peers to share best practices and enhance customer value.
• Utilize consultative selling techniques to identify potential sales opportunities within accounts.
• Create awareness of electrophysiology solutions and facilitate Territory Sales Manager (TM) contact with key decision-makers to drive incremental business.
• Maximize customer case support capability through proper planning and scheduling.
• Drive collaboration and maintain consistent communication with the local team (TM and other CAS), support team (Ultrasound CAS, FSE, RBD), and other internal and external partners.
• Develop and grow customer relationships within and beyond the EP lab, including physicians, nurses, technicians, and hospital administrators.
• Stay current on company product instructions for use (IFU), best practices, technical troubleshooting, relevant scientific clinical literature, and new product information.
• Prioritize and respond to requests in high-stress environments, maintaining composure and a problem-solving focus.
• Engage in diagnostic dialogue with business partners and stakeholders to formulate solutions.
• Provide mentoring for new electrophysiology commercial team members as requested.
• Perform administrative work, including managing account documentation, compliance training, expense reporting, and Company system input.
• Ensure personal and Company compliance with all regulations, policies, and procedures.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• University/bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the Cardiovascular field, specifically within Electrophysiology or CRM sections.
• Proficiency in English.
• Experience in direct patient support within a Cath Lab environment.
• Ability to provide hands-on support to physicians and patients as needed.

Work Environment and Expectations

This role requires availability for emergent patient care. The Clinical Specialist will operate in a collaborative environment, working closely with local and support teams, as well as other internal and external partners. Significant travel is required, with an expectation of 80% or more travel within the assigned region.
