About the Role

Masimo is seeking a Clinical Sales Specialist to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is responsible for driving sales and clinical adoption of Masimo products within an assigned territory, focusing on achieving revenue goals and expanding market presence. The specialist will leverage clinical expertise to position Masimo technologies as essential patient monitoring solutions in various healthcare settings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Area Manager to develop business plans aimed at achieving company revenue goals.
  • Analyze the competitive marketplace and industry trends to formulate effective business strategies for revenue generation.
  • Develop and maintain solid, trusting relationships with major key clients.
  • Address and resolve key client issues and complaints promptly.
  • Cultivate a comprehensive understanding of key account needs and anticipate changes or improvements.
  • Manage communications between key clients and internal teams.
  • Oversee the account team assigned to each client.
  • Negotiate contracts with clients and establish clear timelines for performance.
  • Analyze client data to enhance customer relationship management.
  • Expand existing client relationships and acquire new clients.
  • Utilize *********** for thorough documentation of all field and customer interactions and activities.
  • Manage expenses effectively to remain within allocated budgets for all required activities.

Product and Market Strategy

  • Achieve assigned quotas for sales and contracts for all Masimo products within the designated territory, growing the installed base.
  • Engage in the full sales cycle for accounts, including qualification, demonstration, clinical evaluation, and closure, by planning and executing account strategies.
  • Serve as an expert in pulse oximetry, pulse CO-Oximetry, brain function monitoring, regional oximetry, and capnography.
  • Position Masimo SET as the standard for pulse oximetry and Masimo Rainbow as the preferred choice for pulse CO-Oximetry.
  • Promote the ROOT innovation platform and related parameters as essential bedside solutions in the OR, ICU, and throughout the hospital.
  • Partner with OEM sales staff to provide key clinical education and support for whole-house conversions at key accounts.
  • Convince customers using competitive multiparametric monitors to upgrade their installed base to Masimo SpO2 technology, securing long-term contracts.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders and clinical bodies in the territory (*, Anesthesia, ICU, Neonatology, ER) to ensure Masimo technologies are present in academic programs and local protocols.
  • Participate in programs designed to build and maintain end-user awareness, such as trade shows and regional symposiums.
  • Provide sales and marketing input to the Region and Distribution Manager regarding clinical market trends, competitive activity, and product needs.
  • Participate in administrative, tender, and clinical education efforts for Group Purchasing and Ministry initiatives, as well as for all public and private hospital opportunities.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a Medical or Clinical background.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in direct critical care, NICU, PICU, *, and emergency medical systems (EMS), with neo-natal and pediatrics experience being highly advantageous.
  • Proven sales track record, with five or more years of medical device sales and clinical experience with Patient Monitoring systems, is highly advantageous.

Required Skills and Attributes

  • Ability to communicate value-based solutions effectively, including during education and training in competitive, strategy-intensive markets within healthcare.
  • Demonstrated conceptual, analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Fluent verbal and written English communication skills are required, with superior communication abilities including leading group presentations.
  • Results-oriented with a positive attitude and a sense of urgency to achieve objectives.
  • Experience working with OEM and distributor sales forces.
  • Experience engaging with C-level customers.
  • Comfortable in high-visibility situations and exhibits strong self-confidence.
  • Demonstrated self-starter; a hands-on individual dedicated to task completion with minimal support and direction.
  • Advanced software, presentation, and project management skills.
  • Experience working in both large structured and small entrepreneurial organizations, with sensitivity to start-up constraints and adaptability to new environments.
  • Direct selling experience in competitive, strategy-intensive markets.

Work Environment and Travel

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role requires the ability and willingness to travel as needed to support business objectives and client engagements across the assigned territory.
